- You don’t need to run your e file at the highest RPM. It should depend on what you are doing with the nails. Always consider the type of area that you are working on.

- Once you are done, you can take a hand file and shape the nail easily once excess products have been removed.

Things to know:

- Anchor point – a point where something is held securely to provide stability, like your support nail when using the e file

- Torque – the force of the drill while rotating

DON'TS in using E-file Nail Drill:

• Don’t use this technique to everybody, you must consider the condition of your nails or your client’s nails
• Don’t put too much pressure when using a nail drill to prevent damage to the natural nails
• Don’t rest the bit on the nail (Burning is caused by friction when you’re filing in just one spot for a long time. File evenly on a back-and-forth motion).
• Don’t use carbide bits on the skin, it can cause injury since they are made of metal and can easily heat up.
