Please arrive ready to work and set up at least 15 minutes before your scheduled class time.     About This Class

    This class focuses on refining and perfecting the nail after acrylic application is complete. Students will arrive with acrylic already applied and ready to work directly on shaping, structure, and final refinement before any color or nail art is added.

    We will begin by breaking down how to properly analyze the nail from every angle including the side profile, front view, top view, and underside. Students will learn how to identify structural imbalances and correct them through intentional filing, apex refinement, sidewall alignment, and free edge sharpening.

    The focus of this session is creating a clean, balanced foundation that allows polish and nail art to sit flawlessly. You will learn how to refine the cuticle area, control thickness, maintain consistency across all nails, and achieve a smooth, professional shape that requires minimal correction later.

    This class is ideal for students who already understand acrylic application and want to elevate their work through precision and refinement. If you need support with acrylic application, prep, or ratio control, those courses are available separately and should be completed prior to this session.

    By the end of class, you will have a clear understanding of how to perfect the foundation of the nail, resulting in cleaner finishes, sharper shapes, and consistently high quality sets that photograph and wear beautifully.
