Rotating Nail Art Techniques Throughout the Year

Once the structure of the nail is built and finished with clean polish application, the next step is learning how to incorporate nail art while maintaining balance, control, and professional finishing.

The Seasonal Gel Art Workshop is designed as a rotating class that introduces nail art techniques inspired by the current season. Each session focuses on designs that align with the time of year while still allowing the artist creative freedom to adapt colors, styles, and details.

Depending on when you attend, the themes will reflect the following seasonal focus:

January through March
Valentine’s inspired designs and early spring nail art concepts.

April through June
Summer inspired nail art techniques and seasonal color combinations.

July through September
Fall inspired textures, tones, and transitional seasonal designs.

October through December
Holiday inspired nail art techniques and festive design concepts.

While seasonal inspiration guides the class, the techniques taught are adaptable so artists can apply them throughout the year across different color palettes and client requests.

This workshop is designed to follow the Gel Polish Foundations class, where students first learn how to create clean solid color and French bases. In this session, those polished foundations become the canvas for creative nail art.

Many students choose to attend multiple seasonal sessions throughout the year to continue expanding their design library and refine their brush control with new techniques.

By the end of the workshop, students will feel confident layering art over a clean gel polish base while maintaining structure, balance, and professional finishing.
