Ive been doing nails as a hobby for years, and ive always struggled using builder gels. My main love, and focus, has always been mostly acrylic. Im starting nail school soon and i know im going to need to expand my services out a lil more than just acrylic, and i am so happy i gave these builder gels a try! I have tried a few different kinds from a few different amazon type brands over the years, and it was always a struggle and a mess. The other builder gels that i had tried would run all over the place and lose their shape as i was struggling to clean up and perfect the shape of the application. Ive honestly avoided builder gel for the last year or 2 because it was messy and i just was not good at it lol.
These builder gels from Makartt Pro are SO DIFFERENT from every other builder gel ive ever used. I can actually DO IT! i watched a few of the tutorials Makartt Pro has on their tiktok page to get an idea on the "right" way to apply them and i was literally blown away by how fast and easy i was able to use them. By the time i was grabbing my liner brush to run along the sides of the nail to clean up the edges the whole surface of the entire nail had already evened out into the perfect shape!! These gels are way thicker than any other builder gel ive used and they actually hold their shape and structure! They self level very slightly across the entire surface where you do not have to do ANYTHING, and BAM theres a perfectly straight line of light running down the nail…
