About This Class
Perfect application starts with the perfect ratio. Acrylic Ratio is a focused, hands-on class designed to help you master liquid-to-powder control the skill that separates beginners from professionals.
This class breaks down the science behind acrylic consistency, showing you how too much or too little monomer affects strength, clarity, and retention. You’ll learn how to identify the right bead size, texture, and speed for your environment, product brand, and technique style.
We’ll start with an overview of proper brush prep and liquid control, then move into live demonstrations of correct bead pickup. Each student will practice first to focus on consistency before applying to the nail. The instructor will review each step, provide feedback, and show how to fix common mistakes such as chalky beads, air bubbles, or runny application.
Next, we’ll transition to applying beads on the nail to understand placement and pressure. You’ll learn how to balance the acrylic ratio for smooth application, minimal filing, and long-lasting retention. This class encourages group discussion and side-by-side comparison so students can learn visually and correct in real time.
By the end of this session, you’ll have a clear understanding of how to achieve the perfect mix every time creating smoother, stronger, and more professional-looking sets.
